Q. Nick Watney, what a beautiful round of golf today, 64 on the Plantation, 9 under par for the tournament. Tell me a little bit about your round and how excited you are to be in this position.
NICK WATNEY: Well, the round was great. I started off with possibly the worst three putt in the history of the tour, but got it back quickly and I’m very, very pleased with the day, but it was a fairly easy 64. I may have hit every green and didn’t really have too much stress, so very excited. And I know we’ve got a long way to go, so going to keep executing.
Q. Absolutely. And at the moment Charles Howell III has the lead at 14 under. You’re certainly within striking distance. How good do you feel about your ball striking and your putting heading into the Seaside this weekend?
NICK WATNEY: I feel great. I’m very excited. Obviously Charles is playing very well, so I’ve just got to keep my head down and see where I end up. I couldn’t really ask for much more at this point and I’m just excited to get after it.
