How do I sign up to volunteer?

Follow the on-screen instructions to sign in to your existing volunteer account or create a new volunteer profile.

Where do volunteers park?

All volunteer parking is located at McKinnon/St. Simons Island Airport (30 Gruber Lane, St. Simons Island, GA). A designated parking area is available to working volunteers only. Please use your volunteer credential to access this area.

Do I need to purchase a volunteer uniform?

All volunteers are required to purchase a volunteer uniform for $80. This package consists of a POLO Golf shirt, POLO Golf jacket, and Imperial Cap or Visor. Volunteers are expected to wear the volunteer uniform while on duty.

What does the uniform look like this year?

Please be sure to check the weather prior to your shift and bring extra layers if cooler temperatures are forecasted.

All volunteers are also asked to wear their own pair of khaki color bottoms – both shorts and pants are acceptable.

Where and when can I pickup my volunteer uniform and credential?

All volunteer uniforms and credential packages will be available at Frederica Academy (200 Murray Way, St. Simons Island, GA) on Saturday, November 7 and Sunday, November 8.

When should I arrive for my scheduled shift?

Please make sure to be on time for your volunteer shifts. Most volunteer shifts have been created with ample time for check-in. For volunteer assignments based on player tee times (Marshals, Walking Scorers, Laser Operators, Standard Bearers, etc.), please be sure to check tee times the night before on PGATOUR.com and arrive approximately one hour in advance. This is particularly important on Saturday and Sunday because tee times are based on the number of players remaining in the field after the cut has been made.

Where do I check-in once I arrive on the grounds?

Most committees will check-in at the Volunteer Tent or Volunteer HQ located to the left of Plantation Hole 1 tee. A complete list of Volunteer Check-In Locations will be provided to all volunteers a few weeks before tournament.

How can I receive tournament updates on my phone?

Where can I find my volunteer schedule?

Once you have completed your volunteer registration, you will be able to access your schedule at any time by signing in to your volunteer account AT dlfvolunteers.com. Please be sure to check your volunteer schedule as we get closer to tournament week as some scheduled times may change.

Are volunteers allowed to play the golf course?

Volunteers who complete a minimum of 12 hours of volunteer service will receive a complimentary round of golf at Sea Island Golf Club. Please note, the complimentary golf vouchers are limited to dates specified on the vouchers.
