“Taste of the Golden Isles” Tickets on Sale

Limited Tickets Available to the event that sold out in 2016

SIMONS ISLAND, GA – AUGUST 15, 2017 – The Davis Love Foundation is excited to partner with the St. Simons Island Food & Spirits Festival (SSFSF) to host “Taste of the Golden Isles” for the second consecutive year. Held in conjunction with The RSM Classic, the event will take place on Friday, November 17 at 5pm at the Casino Building in Pier Village. Proceeds from the event benefit Hospice of the Golden Isles.

A sellout event in its first year, “Taste of the Golden Isles” allows guests to sample and savor some of the finest foods and spirits available in the Golden Isles prepared by award-winning chefs from across the region.

This year’s event will feature live music from local performing artists Suzy & the Bird Dogs.  Based out of Brunswick, Georgia, the band has become well-known in the area for their alternative country and rock & roll music.

“We are thrilled to partner with the St. Simons Island Food & Spirits Festival to bring this event to the Golden Isles again this year,” said Tournament Executive Director Mark Love. “Taste of the Golden Isles showcases the best of Golden Isles’ cuisine, beverages, and music for locals and visitors to enjoy on Friday evening after the tournament competition.  In addition, it gives the Davis Love Foundation another opportunity outside of the golf tournament to raise funds for a well-deserving charity, Hospice of the Golden Isles.”

“Last year’s event was a great success, and the SSFSF is looking forward to another wonderful evening,” said Dave Snyder, President of SSFSF and Chef/Owner of Halyards Restaurant Group.  “We are proud to work with the Davis Love Foundation to celebrate the hospitality and food the locals create and enjoy.  It’s a lot of fun while raising funds for Hospice, a tremendous cause.”

Tickets for this event are $70 and include unlimited tasting, a commemorative wine glass, live music and a ticket to attend The RSM Classic on Friday, November 17.  Guests must be 21 years and over to attend.  Tickets will be limited and can only be purchased at RSMClassic.com.
