CHENG TSUNG PAN

Q:  You played some great golf here for two days, you seemed very comfortable out there.  You’re a PGA Tour rookie, it’s not supposed to be that easy.

CHENG TSUNG PAN:  Well, it took me a while to feel comfortable out here.  This is my fifth event.  I didn’t play well as I wanted the first four events.  It took me a while to feel comfortable and this week finally I finally feel comfortable out here and I’m glad I play well.

Q:  I saw you at Safeway, watched you today.  Your iron play is really, really good.  Is that the strength of your game?

CHENG TSUNG PAN:  Yeah, yeah.  I would say accuracy, everything’s my strength here.  I hit a lot of fairways and greens so I give myself a lot of birdie chances out here so it’s a good sign.

Q:  You’ve won a lot.  In your amateur career, you’ve won a lot.  So heading into the weekend, you have to be very excited.

CHENG TSUNG PAN:  Oh, absolutely, but the place I always want to be in contention of something, of a PGA Tour event, so I’m looking forward to it and play my best.

Q:  You and Mackenzie, a couple rookies will be playing in that last group.  That’s pretty exciting.

CHENG TSUNG PAN:  Yeah, it should be fun.  We played on the Canadian Tour last year and then we played the Web.com Tour this year and now we are both on the PGA Tour.  So it’s exciting to see both of us play well out here because it’s a dream come true for both of us, for sure.
