2016 Friends of the Foundation Program Now Underway

SIMONS ISLAND, GA – July 20, 2016 – The 2016 Friends of the Foundation, a charity program administered by the Davis Love Foundation to benefit area nonprofits, is now underway. The program helps charities raise money by selling $20 raffle tickets for the chance to win a new 2016 Buick Verano courtesy of Nalley Automotive of Brunswick.  One hundred percent of the money collected through the raffle is distributed back to the participating charities.

“The program is a great complement to the charitable mission of the Davis Love Foundation and The RSM Classic,” said Scott Reid, Tournament Director.  “Last year was the inaugural year of the program, and the thirty participating charities received more than $142,000.  In addition to the dollars raised by the charities, the Davis Love Foundation is funding a $50,000 Bonus Pool that will be distributed based on raffle ticket sales performance. ”

“Being a part of the Davis Love Foundation raffle last year was such a wonderful experience. The entire school pulled together for one goal; to raise as much money as possible for our school. We raised nearly $26,000,” said Mark Kok, Headmaster of Saint Simons Christian School.  “Those funds allowed us to make upgrades to our facilities in order to give our students the best educational experience possible. We are so grateful to the Davis Love Foundation for allowing us to partner with them. We look forward to participating again this year.”

Charities have until August 1 to submit their registration forms.  As of today, participating charities are:
