Charity Putting Challenge
The Charity Putting Challenge allows Special Olympics athletes and members of the local Boys & Girls Club to participate with PGA TOUR Professionals in a friendly putting competition. Each team is comprised of one representative from each of the aforementioned organizations along with a representative from RSM LLP who serves as an official scorekeeper for the team.
The teams square off against one another in a 12-hole putting competition. Each hole is custom-designed by teaching professionals at the Sea Island Golf Performance Center and present various challenges with rocks, sand, and small branches serving as hazards. In the end, one team is awarded as the Charity Putting Challenge champion with an accompanying trophy to honor their achievement.
