Volunteer FAQs

Volunteers who complete a minimum of 12 hours of volunteer service will receive a complimentary round of golf at Sea Island Golf Club. Please note, the complimentary golf vouchers are limited to dates specified on the vouchers.

All volunteers can log in and view their schedule at www.dlfvolunteers.com. Please check your schedule periodically as times/shifts can change.

Uniform Store and Credential Pick-Up Dates

All Volunteers for the 2024 RSM Classic will be able to pick-up their uniforms and credential packages on the following dates:
Saturday, November 9 9am to 2pm Frederica Academy Gym
Sunday, November 10 9am to 1pm Frederica Academy Gym

Any Volunteer uniforms and credential packages that are not picked up at one of these times will be sent back to the Tournament Office at Sea Island Golf Club. You can stop by the tournament office Monday, November 11 through Sunday, November 17 from 9am-3pm.

Exchanges are allowed starting Monday, November 11th at the Tournament Office between 9am-3pm.

If you cannot pick up your uniform until Tournament Week, you can pick it up at Will Call, located at the SSI Airport near the boarding area for the Shuttle.

Hours for Pick Up:
Monday, November 18 – 10am to 4pm
Tuesday, November 19 – 10am to 4pm
Wednesday, November 20 – 7am to 4pm
Thursday, November 21 – 7am to 4pm
Friday, November 22 – 7am to 4pm

All volunteers are required to purchase a volunteer uniform for $85. This package consists of a Peter Millar Golf shirt, Peter Millar Golf jacket, and Imperial Cap or Visor. Volunteers are expected to wear the volunteer uniform while on duty. Please wear khaki shorts, pants or skirts with your volunteer uniform.

All volunteer parking is located at St. Simons Island Airport . A designated parking area is available to working volunteers only. Please use your volunteer credential to access this area.

Riding your bike and/or walking into the grounds is also permitted via the Avenue of the Oaks ONLY.

Please be sure to check the weather prior to your shift and bring extra layers if cooler temperatures are forecasted.

All volunteers are also asked to wear their own pair of khaki color bottoms – both shorts and pants are acceptable.
