RSM Eagles on #15 presented by Verizon Business Shares $33,000 to the Coast Guard Foundation
Sea Island – (November 25, 2024) – In recognition of the tournament’s 15th anniversary this year, a special initiative was created to support those who serve and for each eagle recorded on the 15th hole of the Seaside Course, $1,500 is being awarded to the Coast Guard Foundation.
There were a total of 12 eagles posted on the par-5, 15th during the four rounds of The RSM Classic, for a total of $18,000. RSM, prior to the start of the competition, began the initiative with a $15,000 donation. So, a total of $33,000 will be shared with the Coast Guard Foundation, thanks to the support of RSM and Verizon Business.
Throughout its 15 years, The RSM Classic has raised recognition and nearly $48 million for organizations that support children and families in need throughout the region.
In the first round, eventual tournament champion Maverick McNeely was one of 12 players to eagle the 15th hole.
