Maverick McNealy: 2024 RSM Classic Tournament Champion
Maverick McNealy secured his first PGA TOUR victory at The RSM Classic, marking a milestone in his 142nd start. The win came after McNealy switched to the 2025 Titleist Pro V1 golf ball, which he debuted during the tournament at Sea Island Golf Club. This change, along with his recent transition to TaylorMade P7CB irons, proved pivotal as he led the field in Strokes Gained: Total and excelled in Proximity on Approach and Greens in Regulation. McNealy’s final round of 2-under 68 allowed him to outlast a competitive leaderboard, finishing one shot ahead of amateur Luke Clanton, Daniel Berger, and Nico Echavarria. This victory capped off a successful season for McNealy, who had already secured his PGA TOUR playing privileges for 2025.
